Dr. Riera
Hi there! I'm Dr. Riera — though most people just call me the dentist.
I was born in Havana, Cuba, and moved to the United States with my parents when I was 12. I went to FIU for undergrad and came out with two bachelor's degrees, one in Chemistry and one in Biology. From there I headed north to Boston for dental school at Tufts University, graduating in 2021 and practicing ever since.
When I'm not busy fixing teeth, you'll usually find me at a local salsa studio, where I teach twice a week. I'm also an avid collector — a growing army of Star Wars pop figures, plus a Cuban banknote collection that goes all the way back to 1869. When I travel, I love to scuba dive and really immerse myself in a new culture.
Still on my list: skydiving and learning to surf. Work in progress!

When we opened our doors in April of 2024, we set out to build something a little different. Riera Family Dental was created to be a welcoming place for you and your whole family — kids, grandparents, everyone. We work hard to make your visit as comfortable and pain-free as we can, and we never cut corners on the quality of care you deserve.
